Strange Things in California

One of the great things about basing the Roadtrip in Southern California is that there is no dearth of material at which one can poke fun. Just driving around in the Smogmobile 2000™ has given us some great photographs.

Artesia (91) Freeway. Some hapless person in a silly-looking truck. He cut us off so we chased him down the freeway.

Now It Can Be Told. After the psycho incident, we no longer fear retribution. The reason we put this in the gallery is sitting in the passenger seat, unfortunately obscured by the driver. This woman kept leaning down and over the driver, who had this really dopey grin on. She could just have been safety-conscious and have been checking his door lock frequently…
